Synovitis or Synovial Inflammation

Dynamika is the only standardised software that enables fully automated and reliable quantification and visualisation of synovial inflammation.

MRI enables detecting and quantifying pre-erosive changes, such as synovitis. Quantitative MRI markers of synovitis include the volume of synovial tissue and synovial fluid enhancing with various patterns, rate of synovial enhancement, and maximum enhancement, following intravenous injection of contrast material. These can be useful for

  • Analysis of patient groups and identification of early responders
  • Differentiation of healthy controls and active patients
  • Identification of patients with inflammatory arthritis from other groups
  • Patient follow-up for quantitative assessment of treatment effect
  • Disease staging and prognosis
