Dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) has demonstrated high sensitivity for detection of breast cancer. The main limitation of the dynamic MR imaging is its low specificity. Recently published studies demonstrated that appropriate computer-aided diagnostic (CAD) systems can improve accuracy of diagnostic decisions and low the risk of lesions’ misdetection.
Image Analysis Ltd received a grant from Business Development Agency Yorkshire Forward to build a bespoke software solution for quantitative analysis of dynamic MRI and diagnostic decision support in breast cancer.
